Charles Menninger-Ben is within the top best 5% of contractors who have performed work for me in my 58 years. However, when it comes to caring and honesty with work performed, he is number 1. Ben performed a land clearing project for me in Kinston, NC for my future retirement home. This was my first time starting from scratch with a home site. Ben with the help of his sons showed up daily and worked non-stop minus lunch. That right there is hard to find. Ben discussed every detail of the work with me and shared insight on what he would do if my property was his own. Ben suggested a good septic installer who not only gave me the best estimate but stopped by the property twice to discuss clearing the septic area with Ben so not to violate the County requirements. I could go on for days lauding Ben, so I will end this with "Hiring Ben would be a smart move for you too".
Jack Brooks-Ben responded quickly to my inquiry regarding cutting some trails/roads on my property in Pamlico County. We discussed the costs and scheduled a date to start the work. I was certain it would take a couple days. Allen showed up at 6:30 in the morning , warmed up the dedicated forestry mulcher and went to work! I could barely stay ahead of him marking the trail. In less than 7 hours he had completed over a mile of trail averaging 12 ft wide! I am so impressed with their work and professionalism. I recommend them highly and look forward to working with them on other projects!
